The Story

Founded in 1996, ACODIHUE represents over 40,000 smallholder coffee farmers across the Cuchumatanes mountains of Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Led primarily by indigenous women producers, the cooperative invests in food security, education, environmental stewardship, and stronger rural communities through coffee production rooted in collaboration, equity, and long-term economic resilience for farming families.
