To help us keep running smoothly as we grow, we are looking for a dedicated, organized, and hands-on Shop Manager to lead our café operations.

About the Role
The Shop Manager is a full-time position that serves as a primary partner to the owner. In this role you will be responsible for managing daily café operations, leading our team, maintaining our equipment, and ensuring our high standards are met every single day.
We practice a management philosophy rooted in clear communication, direct feedback, and consistent accountability. You will work closely with the owner with weekly support and alignment check-ins.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Operational Leadership: Overseeing daily shifts, managing the staff schedule, and ensuring the café consistently meets high standards for quality and customer experience.
- Team Development: Fostering a positive, professional workplace culture through clear expectations, documented coaching, and quarterly performance evaluations.
- Technical & Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels, sales reporting, and handling the day-to-day care and maintenance of our commercial brewing and grinding equipment.
- Quality Control: Upholding our standards for technical coffee preparation and exceptional hospitality.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least one year of supervisory or management experience (experience in specialty coffee or food service is a major plus!).
- Strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills.
- Open availability to support the café’s needs, including weekends and holidays.
- A proactive problem-solver who takes pride in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment.
